Working on dry, styled hair (ideally prepped with a curl-hold spray), section your hair into 2 cm-wide pieces. Open the clamp and flat-wrap or twist-wrap the hair around the barrel, clamp it, and hold for 5–8 seconds. Release carefully. For a more textured, volumized look, alternate wrapping directions—under and over the barrel—and finish by letting curls cool before lightly combing or brushing out and applying a shine spray and curling spray for hold.
