Refund policy

glamaCo Returns, Refunds & Warranties Policy

At glamaCo, we want you to love every purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we make returns simple and fair. This policy applies to both online and in-store purchases.

Returns Timeline

You can request a return within 60 days of receiving your order (online) or from the date of purchase (in-store).

Return Conditions

Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all accessories intact. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on used or opened personal care items unless they are faulty.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods
  • Custom-made or personalised items
  • Gift cards
  • Certain electrical products may have additional restrictions

Two Types of Returns

1. Has a Problem

Free return shipping covered by glamaCo (online) / no cost to you (in-store). Eligible for a refund to your original payment method, a replacement, or an exchange.

Select one of these reasons:

  • Faulty item
  • Wrong item sent
  • Item missing from order
  • Item arrived damaged

2. Changed My Mind:

You pay return shipping for online returns. In-store returns are processed at no cost. Eligible for store credit only (issued as a glamaCo e-gift card) or an exchange once we receive and inspect the item. Cash or original payment method refunds are not available for change-of-mind returns.

Select one of these reasons:

  • Not what I was expecting
  • I made a mistake

Electrical Items After 60 Days

Only the “Faulty item” reason is available. We may ask for proof of fault or direct you to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Delivery Issues or Delayed/Lost Parcels

Delivery times are estimates only. Most parcels arrive within 1–3 business days of the estimated date.

If your order is late or shows as delivered but you haven’t received it:

  1. First, contact the shipping carrier directly using your tracking number (they will open an investigation and provide a case number).
  2. Check your emails for multiple tracking numbers (some orders are split).
  3. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost or you still haven’t received it after their investigation, contact us with the case number and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund under our “Has a Problem” policy.

How to Request a Return

Online Orders

  1. Log into your glamaCo account.
  2. Go to Orders and find the relevant order.
  3. Click Request return.
  4. Select the item/s and reason.
  5. Submit your request.

We will review it (usually within 1–2 business days) and email you approval with return instructions and a shipping label (free for “Has a Problem” returns).

Please pack items securely in their original packaging before dropping them off with the carrier. Keep your tracking number.

Important: Return requests must be approved by our team before any return shipping instructions or labels are provided. Unsolicited packages posted back without an approved return will not be processed.

In-Store Purchases

Bring the unused item in its original packaging, together with proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation email, or loyalty account details), to any glamaCo store. You may return an item purchased at one store to a different store in person.

Processing Your Return

Once we receive and inspect the items (or process the return in-store), we will finalise your resolution:

  • “Has a Problem” → Refund to original payment method, replacement, or exchange.
  • “Changed My Mind” → Store credit (glamaCo e-gift card) or exchange.

Online returns are normally processed within 7–10 business days of us receiving the item. In-store returns are processed on the spot where possible.

Faulty Items

    • Within 60 days: Use the return request process above and select “Faulty item”.
    • After 60 days (electrical items only): Contact us directly with your order number and details/photos of the fault.

Under Australian Consumer Law you have additional rights for faulty goods. We’ll always work with you to resolve these fairly.

      Manufacturer Warranties

Many of our products, especially electrical items like hair tools and beauty devices, come with manufacturer warranties.

For full details on coverage, how to claim, common brand examples (such as ghd and Dyson), and more, please see our Manufacturers Warranties article.

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have rights beyond manufacturer warranties for faulty goods. If you believe your item doesn't meet these guarantees, let us know—we'll help resolve it.
