Showpony Skin Weft & Tape Hair Extensions Do's and Don'ts: • Please ensure client’s hair is washed thoroughly with the Showpony Deep Cleansing Shampoo PRIOR ONLY to Skin Weft/ Tape Hair placement, and dried. • While Skin Weft/ Tape Hair Extensions are in the hair Showpony Sulphate Free Shampoo and Showpony Strength & Shine Conditioner are to be used. • Only use a Showpony Detangle Brush, Loop Brush or Natural Bristle Brush to brush Skin Weft/ Tape Hair Extensions. • Always brush hair gently prior to washing. • While Skin Weft/ Tape Hair Extensions are in the hair, emulsify shampoo in hands, gently wipe over the top of your hair from roots to ends. DO NOT massage into hair. • DO NOT apply conditioner to the Root/ Skin Weft/ Tape area, only to mid-length and ends. Towel dry (Do not rub or twist) • Showpony advise NOT TO COLOUR your Showpony Tape Hair Extensions. If you choose to do this, then you will be doing so at your own risk. No more than a 3% developer should be used. Furthermore extreme care should be taken to not get colour or water near the tapes when rinsing, as this can affect the tape adhesion. You may need to retape prior to application. • DO NOT lighten Showpony Hair Extensions • Shampoo with Argan or Moroccan Oil, protein, citrus or high alcohol content, Keratin treatments, purple shampoos, medicated shampoos, products containing sulphate are NOT to be used. • 72 hours prior to placement DO NOT apply colour or any oils to the hair. • DO NOT apply any Keratin treatments to the hair prior to and during the wear of your Extensions. • While Skin Weft or Tape Hair Extensions are in the clients hair, hairspray, conditioner, Argan or Moroccan oils are NOT to be applied near the root area. Shampoo is to be the only product to be applied to the roots. • When blow drying the hair DO NOT use high heat as this will make the hair dry and dull. When hair straightening and blow drying, avoid the tape strips. • DO NOT sleep on wet or damp hair. • When sleeping, loosely plait hair. • DO NOT Shampoo or Condition your hair within 72 hours of having your Showpony Skin Weft or Tape Hair Extensions applied, as this may cause loosening. • Please use Showpony Skin Weft/ Tape Hair Remover to remove the Skin Wefts or Tape Hair Extensions from your client's hair. • Refit & Move up is recommended every 6 weeks .
