How to apply Mitty Gel Polishes. 1. Gently push back cuticles. 2. Shape your nails and buff the top with a Mitty 180/180 nail file or sanding band if you are using an electric file. 3. Clean your nails with an alcohol wipe. 4.Apply Mitty pH Bonder and air dry. Follow with Mitty primer and air dry. 5.Apply a thin layer of base coat. 6.Cure for 30 seconds in Mitty 36w LED lamp or 2 cycles in Mitty 6W LED lamp. *HANDY HINT: The base coat will be sticky, also known as tacky. This is normal, don’t touch or clean this tacky layer. 7.Apply a thin layer of polish and cure completely for 30 seconds in Mitty 36W LED lamp or 2 cycles in Mitty 6W LED lamp. Repeat with another thin layer of colour. This layer will also be tacky. Again, do not touch or remove tacky layer. HANDY NOTES: If you apply thick layers, gel polish will not cure all the way which can cause lifting, peeling, bubbling or shrinking. Also don’t forget to paint the end of your nails, also known as the free edge. 8.Apply a thin layer of Mitty Non-Wipe Gloss Topcoat and cure for 60 seconds with Mitty 36W LED lamp or 4 cycles in Mitty 6W LED lamp.
