1. Section the Hair: o Use the tapered tail end of the brush to part clean, dry, or damp hair into manageable sections (such as quadrants or thin horizontal subsections). o Clip away the hair you aren’t working on. 2. Load the Brush: o Mix your hair color, bleach, or toner thoroughly in a tint bowl. o Dip the wide bristles into the mixture, picking up an even amount of product on both sides of the brush. Tap or lightly scrape any excess drip against the edge of the bowl. 3. Apply the Color: o For Roots: Place the flat edge of the firm bristles directly against the scalp or root line and dab or smooth the color down. o For All-Over Color or Large Sections: Use the 2.25-inch wide head to sweep the product smoothly from roots to ends. The firm bristles help push the color deep into dense or wider sections. o Use the tapered end anytime you need to pivot and carve out a new subsection of hair. 4. Clean and Maintain: o Immediately after coloring, rinse the brushes under lukewarm water to remove all chemical residue. o Wash the bristles gently with a mild shampoo or specialized brush cleaner. o Reshape the bristles with your fingers and lay the brushes flat to dry completely before storing them.
