1. Section the Hair:
o Use the tapered tail end of the Colortrak brush handle to part and divide the hair into clean, manageable sections (such as quadrants or thin horizontal slices).
2. Load the Color:
o Dip the tips or the lower third of the firm bristles into your hair dye, lightener, or formula inside a tint bowl.
o Tap or gently scrape any excess product against the edge of the bowl to avoid dripping or over-saturation.
3. Apply Product to Roots or Lengths:
o Place the 2.25-inch wide head flat against the hair section.
o Use smooth, even strokes to paint color directly onto the root line or sweep it down through the mid-lengths and ends. The wide base allows you to cover a larger surface area per stroke than a standard narrow brush.
4. Detail and Blend:
o Use the firm edges of the bristles for precision work around the hairline, parting, or root touch-ups.
o For sectioning adjustments on the fly, pivot the brush and use the tapered end to isolate the next subsection.
5. Clean the Tool:
o Rinse the brush thoroughly with warm water and mild shampoo or brush cleaner immediately after use to prevent product buildup and keep the firm bristles in optimal condition.
