Colortrak Carbon Fiber Combs - 2pk Black

This durable, heat-resistant, anti-static, fine-tooth design has what it takes to get the job done. The extended pintail and rat tail eliminate foil bunching and are perfect for weaving and sectioning!

1. Sectioning the Hair • Use the tip of the extended pintail or rat-tail to cleanly part and divide the hair into manageable quadrants or clean geometric sections. • The fine teeth help smooth each section and clear out loose strands or debris before applying color. 2. Weaving and Foiling (Highlights / Balayage) • Slide the fine teeth of the comb underneath a small horizontal sub-section of hair. • Weave the tail or teeth up and down through the section to separate highlight pieces. • Use the extended stainless steel pintail to lift the woven section cleanly onto a foil without causing foil bunching or tangling at the root. 3. Styling and Heat Processing • Because the carbon fiber material is heat-resistant, you can use the combs alongside a blow-dryer or thermal tools without worrying about warping the teeth. • The anti-static properties reduce frizz and static shock as you work through dry or fine hair
