Step-by-step instructions 1. Charge the trimmer. Connect it to the supplied charger and charge according to the manufacturer's instructions before first use. 2. Prepare the hair. Ensure the hair is clean, dry and combed into position. 3. Turn on the trimmer. Use the power switch to activate the motor. 4. Create sharp outlines. Hold the blade gently against the skin and use short, controlled movements to shape the hairline, temples and neckline. 5. Trim beards and moustaches. Follow the natural contours of the face to shape edges and remove unwanted hair. 6. Detail around the ears. Use the corner of the blade carefully for precise trimming. 7. Finish the haircut. Remove stray hairs and refine the edges for a clean, professional result. 8. Switch off the trimmer after use. Important: Unlike the RECON Clipper, the trimmer is intended primarily for precision detailing rather than removing large amounts of hair. Using the attachment combs The RECON Trimmer includes three guide combs: Comb: Cutting length Small: 1.5 mm Medium: 3 mm Large: 6 mm Attach the desired comb securely before switching on the trimmer. These guards allow you to trim beards, maintain stubble and cut hair to consistent lengths. Cleaning and maintenance After every haircut: 1. Switch off the trimmer and remove the attachment comb. 2. Brush loose hair from the T-blade. 3. Apply Andis Cool Care Plus according to the product's disinfecting instructions. 4. Allow the blade to dry, then apply a few drops of Andis Clipper Oil. 5. Run the trimmer briefly to distribute the oil, then switch it off and wipe away excess. 6. Store the trimmer in its charging stand or a clean, dry location. Safety tip: The T-blade can be zero-gapped, but incorrect adjustment can scratch or cut skin. Only adjust it using the manufacturer's blade-alignment instructions.
