Apply to dry hair using non-metallic tools and suitable gloves. Start at the nape, working in small sections and keeping approximately 0.5 cm away from the scalp. Comb through once for even saturation and keep the hair straight during development. Do not use heat or cover the hair. For coloured hair, develop for 5 minutes on fine hair, 10 minutes on medium hair, or 15 minutes on coarse hair. Check with a strand test, then emulsify with water and rinse thoroughly. Blow-dry straight and use a ceramic straightening iron in sections no thicker than 1 cm. Apply the ready-to-use neutraliser, keep the hair straight and develop for 10 minutes. Rinse, apply conditioner/post-treatment for 3–5 minutes, rinse and style
